Born in New Orleans and later relocating to Columbia, South Carolina after Hurricane Katrina, Alexis Vinett's musical journey began at the age of 12 when she started posting cover videos online. Her early passion eventually led her to Atlanta, where she honed her craft and developed her soulful R&B sound. Influenced by Amy Winehouse, Missy Elliot, and the golden era of 90s and 2000s R&B, Alexis infuses her music with a blend of nostalgia and modern flair.
Beyond her musical pursuits, Alexis holds a degree in fashion design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Balancing her love for music with a thriving career in the fashion industry, Alexis brings a unique perspective to her artistry.
In 2014, Alexis marked her college graduation day with the release of her debut single, “Wonderland.” The following year, she unveiled her debut EP, Moonstruck, a mesmerizing collection of self-written narratives with psychedelic production.
Since then, Alexis has continued to captivate audiences with a string of singles, each one showcasing her evolution as an artist. Ready for her next musical chapter, AV is set to release a new project this summer.
